About our Founder

Known affectionately as Madame Vintage, Victoria has been a respected purveyor of vintage and antique wares for over 30 years.

Her career has spanned some of Melbourne’s most loved antique centres and fairs, including Lancefield Antique Centre, Maling Road Antique Centre in Canterbury, Chapel Street Bazaar in Windsor, and Waverley Antique Centre in Glen Waverley. From 1990 to 1992, she also traded at the Queen Victoria Market, before stepping away following the early arrival of twins.

In 2015, Victoria returned to the Queen Victoria Market, this time alongside one of her twins, before later relocating to North Melbourne, where she shared a shop with a close friend specialising in French enamelware. The pair eventually returned to Chapel Street Bazaar.

When Covid-19 brought trading to a halt, Victoria packed everything into storage. In 2023, the opportunity arose to establish a shop in Malmsbury, marking the beginning of a new chapter. She has since fallen in love with the town, the community, and the joy of meeting new people every day.

In 2015-2016 at the Queen Victoria Market, Victoria hosted a monthly QVM Brocante Marchè in Shed C — an experience she cherished. In 2024, she revived this tradition by hosting the first Malmsbury Brocante Marchè in the front and back garden of her current shop.

At the heart of everything she does is a commitment to supporting women in business, encouraging new initiatives, and creating welcoming spaces where vintage and community come together.
